ABOUT ADSI
We are ADSI - the Aotearoa Divorce & Separation Institute.
Co-founders Nikki Bould, Kimberlee Sweeney, Kelly Sutton and Julie (Jules) McClain, identified a critical need to establish a secure and ethically-driven service for New Zealanders undergoing separation or divorce. Recognising the absence of regulations in the coaching industry, they were increasingly concerned about the lack of ethical standards and professional oversight. These concerns included the absence of support for clients in the event of an unsuccessful coaching relationship.
Firmly believing that Divorce Coaches should undergo appropriate training and certification from a recognised and reputable body, coupled with a commitment to ongoing education and professional supervision, DSCINZ was established. DSCINZ acknowledges that people navigating the dissolution of a significant relationship are a particularly vulnerable group of people, especially when children are involved.
Our team consists of professionally trained and certified divorce coaches who specialise in supporting and guiding clients through the process of separation and divorce.
All our coaches listed in the DSCINZ directory have received certification from reputable and approved international training providers. Our coaches adhere to professional standards and follow our code of ethics, which ensures the well-being of our clients and maintains the integrity of our organisation.
We also provide a robust dispute resolution procedure to further ensure your peace of mind, throughout your coaching experience.
Many of our divorce coaches have professional backgrounds in other professions such as mediation, counselling, relationship coaching, law, and licensed financial advice.
Our goal – Providing support to both client and professional coaches in the world of divorce.
At DSCINZ, our primary goal is to ensure that clients going through a separation or divorce have an appropriately trained and certified coach who upholds our ethics and professional standards. Clients who choose a DSCINZ member have confidence that their coach will be accountable to the Institute for professional conduct, and will have the requisite experience to support the client to achieve the most positive outcome possible.
